I had the opportunity to go see Disney on Ice presents Dream Big last week with my 3 year old daughter. We've seen other Disney on Ice shows, but this was my favorite experience so far. Natalie, my 3 year old, is a little older and understands more of what the shows are and what they represent. Seeing her face light up when Mickey and Minnie skate out to center ice just makes my heart swell.
The show itself had a wonderful mix of what some would consider "old school" Disney with more of the modern Disney stories. Mixed in throughout the (about) 45 minute first act was Aladdin, Little Mermaid and Beauty & the Beast. The second act was about the same length and had The Princess and the Frog, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and Frozen.
We 100% enjoyed the show. The music was incredible, the show was bright and very entertaining. Entertaining enough to keep my 3 year old's attention. There was a lot of magic in the Verizon Center that night. With our wonderful experience with Disney on Ice presents Treasure Trove, we definitely plan on making this a yearly mother/daughter date night.
