It's no secret that I LOVE the fact that we are so blessed to have amazing water views at nearly every turn here in Southern Maryland. While I love the water, to my great chagrin I have never learned to sail. Never even been on an actual sailboat (yes, I've been boating~in fact I live on our boat with my husband and furbaby, Tyson, but never ON a sailboat!)
How amazing is it, then, that young people in 7th through 12th grades have the opportunity to learn to sail and to be a part of an incredible club with Southern Maryland Sailing Association (SMSA)?!
SMSA's 2023 Spring 10-week session begins on March 7th.
The program is open to any student--whether public, private, or homeschooled--in grades 7 through 12. No sailing experience is needed!

What a great way to keep your tweens and teens busy, while they learn an incredible skill and build teamwork and a deeper appreciation for the water!
