Solomons Business Association celebrates its 42nd Christmas Walk with a new look. We will launch our Christmas celebrations with a fabulous Solomons Vendor Village in several locations in Solomons. We hope to grow the Vendor Village every year onwards until we become famous as The Solomons Vendor Christmas Village.
Saturday December 9th at 6 p.m. weather permitting, we have the Lighted Boat Parade, coordinated by Solomons Island Yacht Club, Patuxent River Sail and Power Squadron, Solomons Yachting Center, Sail Solomons and Southern Maryland Sailing Association, will begin at dusk and end along the Riverwalk at approximately 7:15 p.m. A captain’s meeting covering the route, safety issues and rules for judging will begin at 5:15 p.m. at the Solomons Yachting Center. The lights on the Christmas tree, the gazebo and on the riverwalk will be installed and lit by The NAS Pax River Navy Chiefs. Look for Santa’s mailbox for letters to Santa, at the Gazebo, these letters will be collected and published on our SBA FB pages
